Caprese Salad

Caprese salad, meaning “Salad of Capri” is a simple Italian salad, made of sliced fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and green basil, seasoned with salt and olive oil. It was made to resemble the colors of the Italian flag: red, white, and green.
